Indeed therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God now commands for all men everywhere to repent.

who in the generations that have passed allowed all the nations to go in their own ways,

and to proclaim in his name repentance and remission of sins for all the nations, having begun from Jerusalem.

I tell you, no, but if ye do not repent, ye will all likewise perish.

These things thou have done, and I kept silence. Thou thought that I was altogether such a one as thyself. [But] I will reprove thee, and set [them] in order before thine eyes.

For, passing through and examining your religious objects, I also found an altar on which had been engraved, TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye worship unknowingly, him I proclaim to you.

And when they heard these things, they relaxed and glorified God, saying, Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.

And having departed, they preached that men should repent.

and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near. Repent ye, and believe in the good-news.

Repent ye, for the kingdom of the heavens has approached.

For sorrow toward God works repentance for salvation without regret, but the sorrow of the world works death.

Thus I say to you, there becomes joy in the presence of the agents of God over one sinner who repents.

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent ye, for the kingdom of the heavens has approached.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,

The watchman said, The morning comes, and also the night. If ye will inquire, inquire ye; turn ye back, come.

They say to him, Because no man has hired us. He says to them, Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatever would be right ye will receive.
