And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as LORD commanded Moses.

And Uriah said to David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in booths, and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open field. Shall I then go into my house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? A

And, lo, while she yet talked with the king, Nathan the prophet came in.

Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of LORD, the God of Israel.

And David said to Solomon his son, As for me, it was in my heart to build a house to the name of LORD my God.

Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the history of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer concerning Jeroboam the son of Nebat?

And he set the Levites in the house of LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet. For the commandment was of LORD by his prophets.

But Zadok the priest, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and Nathan the prophet, and Shimei, and Rei, and the mighty men who belonged to David, were not with Adonijah.

and Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers; and Zabud the son of Nathan was chief minister, [and] the king's friend;

how he swore to LORD, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
