He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clung to the sword. And LORD wrought a great victory that day, and the people returned after him only to take spoil.

And all these kings and their land Joshua took at one time, because LORD, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.

And LORD discomfited them before Israel, and he killed them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them by the way of the ascent of Beth-horon, and smote them to Azekah, and to Makkedah.

But he stood in the midst of the plot, and defended it, and killed the Philistines. And LORD wrought a great victory.

He was with David at Pasdammim, and there the Philistines were gathered together to battle, where was a plot of ground full of barley. And the people fled from before the Philistines.

And the sons of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they plundered their camp.
