LORD of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

I will smite them through, so that they shall not be able to rise. They shall fall under my feet.

And David took from him a thousand and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen. And David hocked all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for a hundred chariots.

She put her hand to the tent-pin, and her right hand to the workmen's hammer. And with the hammer she smote Sisera; she struck through his head. Yea, she pierced and struck through his temples.

And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said to him, Come, and I will show thee the man whom thou seek. And he came to her, and, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the tent-pin was in his temples.

And LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan who reigned in Hazor, the captain of whose army was Sisera who dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.

And it was told David. And he gathered all Israel together, and passed over the Jordan, and came to Helam. And the Syrians set themselves in array against David, and fought with him.

And he gathered men to him, and became captain over a troop when David killed them [of Zobah]. And they went to Damascus, and dwelt therein, and reigned in Damascus.

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away. As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
