Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept greatly.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. According to thy loving kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

I am weary with my groaning. Every night I make my bed to swim. I water my couch with my tears.

And LORD said to Satan, Have thou considered my servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one who fears God, and turns away from evil.

Judge me, O LORD, for I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in LORD without wavering.

For thy loving kindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.

And he said, O LORD, the God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with thy servants, who walk before thee with all their heart,

Is not thy fear [of God] thy confidence, the integrity of thy ways thy hope?

My friends scoff at me. My eye pours out tears to God

My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.

O spare me, that I may recover strength before I go from here, and be no more.

I declared my ways, and thou answered me. Teach me thy statutes.

For thus says LORD to the house of Israel: Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
