For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although he was rich he became poor for your sakes, so that by that man's poverty ye might become rich.

He who did not even spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how will he not also give us all things with him?

Just as the Son of man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.

But God commends his love toward us, that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

as grieving, but always rejoicing; as poor, but making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

So that in the coming ages he might show the transcending wealth of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the ages.

And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky, nests, but the Son of man has not where he might lay his head.

I counsel thee to buy from me gold refined from fire, so that thou may become wealthy, and white garments, so that thou may clothe thyself, and the shame of thy nakedness may not be made known, and eye-salve, so that thou may anoin

and to become aware of the love of the Christ, which transcends knowledge, so that ye may be filled in all the fullness of God.

I thank my God always about you, for the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus,

And she brought forth her son, the firstborn, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in the feed trough, because there was no place for them in the inn.

And for their sakes I sanctify myself, so that they may also themselves be sanctified in truth.
