2 Chronicles 2:4

A Conservative Version

Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him incense of sweet spices, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt-offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbat

And Aaron shall burn in it incense of sweet spices. Every morning, when he dresses the lamps, he shall burn it.

And thou shall set upon the table showbread before me always.

Now Solomon purposed to build a house for the name of LORD, and a house for his kingdom.

And Solomon offered for the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which he offered to LORD, twenty-two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the sons of Israel dedicated the house of LORD.

But LORD said to David my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house for my name, thou did well that it was in thy heart.

And, behold, I purpose to build a house for the name of LORD my God, as LORD spoke to David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy place, he shall build the house for my name.

And they burn to LORD every morning and every evening burnt-offerings and sweet incense. Also [they set] the showbread in order upon the pure table, and the candlestick of gold with the lamps of it to burn every evening. For we kee

For great is LORD, and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods.
