But because of this I obtained mercy, so that in me, the foremost, Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.

For us to be for appreciation of his glory, men who have first hoped in the Christ.

for appreciation of the glory of his grace, by which he blessed us in him who is beloved.

Because of this (having this ministry), in as much as we received mercy, we do not become discouraged.

For as many things as were written previously were written for our learning, so that through perseverance and through the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.

All that the Father gives me will come to me, and he who comes to me I will, no, not cast out.
