But ye are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for an acquired possession, so that ye might broadly proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

For thou are a holy people to LORD thy God. LORD thy God has chosen thee to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples that are upon the face of the earth.

and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him is the glory and the dominion into the ages of the ages. Truly.

And thou made them kings and priests to our God, and they will reign over the earth.

If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy this man, for the temple of God is holy, which ye are.

Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit placed you guardians, to tend the church of the Lord and God, which he purchased by his own blood.

And of them also I will take for priests [and] for Levites, says LORD.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them the light has shone.

I press forward toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen.

the people who dwell in darkness saw a great light, and to those who dwell in the region and shadow of death, light sprang up to them.

chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you, and peace be multiplied.

to give light to those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into a way of peace.

that I may see the prosperity of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

even us whom he called, not only from Jews but also from Gentiles.

And Agrippa said to Paul, By a little thou persuade me to become a Christian.

If any man speaks, as oracles of God. If any man serves, as of ability as God supplies. So that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the dominion into the ages of the ages. Truly.

for appreciation of the glory of his grace, by which he blessed us in him who is beloved.

which is a pledge of our inheritance for the redemption of the acquired possession, for appreciation of his glory.

to him is the glory in the church in Christ Jesus for all generations of the age of the ages. Truly.

For LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake, because it has pleased LORD to make you a people to himself.

LORD is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.

For LORD has chosen Jacob to himself, Israel for his own possession.

And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of LORD. And thou shall be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.

And they shall be mine, says LORD of hosts, my own possession, in the day that I make. And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.

And they shall have no inheritance among their brothers. LORD is their inheritance as he has spoken to them.
