And he lay down and slept under a juniper tree, and, behold, a [heavenly] agent touched him, and said to him, Arise and eat.

Even that it would please God to crush me, that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!

And if I say, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name, then there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with forbearing, and I cannot.

O that I might have my request, and that God would grant [me] the thing that I long for!
