And Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah. And he reigned over Israel two years.
And the days which Jeroboam reigned were twenty-two years, and he slept with his fathers. And Nadab his son reigned in his stead.
Arise thou therefore, get thee to thy house. When thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die.
And he did that which was evil in the sight of LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in his sin with which he made Israel to sin.
And this thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
