When they heard the Torah, they separated from Israel all of mixed ancestry.


In the wilderness they craved ravenously, in the desert they tested God.


Also a mixed multitude went up with them, along with the flocks, herds and heavy livestock.


“I have heard the complaining of Bnei-Yisrael. Speak to them saying, ‘At dusk you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am Adonai your God.’”


Bnei-Yisrael said to them, “If only we had died by the hand of Adonai in the land of Egypt, when we sat by pots of meat, when we ate bread until we were full. But you have brought us into the wilderness, to kill this entire congregation with hunger.”


saying: ‘No, instead we’ll go into the land of Egypt, where we will see no war or hear the sound of a shofar or hunger for food, and live there’


“Now to the people say: Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, because you will eat meat, for you wailed in Adonai’s ears saying, ‘If only we could eat meat! It was better for us in Egypt!’ Now Adonai will give you meat and you will eat!


All through that night, the entire community raised up their voices. The people wept.


none of the people who saw My glory and My miraculous signs I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness—yet tested Me these ten times and did not obey My Voice—


Isn’t it enough that you brought us from a land flowing with milk and honey, only to kill us in the wilderness? And now you would lord it over us?


Instead, put on the Lord Messiah Yeshua, and stop making provision for the flesh—for its cravings.


Now these things happened as examples for us, so we wouldn’t crave evil things, just as they did.


Do not be deceived! “Bad company corrupts good morals.”


“Again at Taberah and Massah and Kibroth-hattaavah, you provoked Adonai to wrath.
