9 Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The days of the years of my sojourn are 130 years. Few and evil have been the days of the years of my life. Moreover, the days of the years of my life have not attained the days of the years of the lives of my fathers, in the days of their sojourn.”

Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.


Therefore we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord.


Moses was 120 years old when he died. His eye was not dim nor his vigor gone.


For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the one that is to come.


Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. What is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes.


Now it came to pass after these things that Joshua son of Nun, the servant of Adonai, died at the age of 110 years.


Loved ones, I urge you as strangers and sojourners to keep away from the fleshly cravings that war against the soul.
