Then the king summoned Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said to him, “All that belonged to Saul and to all his household I have given to your master’s son.


Take no bribe, for a bribe blinds those who have sight, and perverts the words of the righteous.


One who answers before listening— that is his folly and his shame.


The first to state his case seems just, until another comes and cross-examines him.


Zeal without knowledge is not good, or to act hastily and miss the way.


A single witness shall not rise up against a person for any offense or sin that he commits. By the word of two or three witnesses is a case to be established.
