And Ruth, the Mo’aḇitess, said to Na‛omi, “Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose eyes I find favour.” So she said to her, “Go, my daughter.”


“And now, it is true that I am your redeemer. However, there is a redeemer nearer than I.


“And now, is not Bo‛az, with whose young women you have been, our relative? See, he is winnowing barley tonight at the threshing-floor.


And Salmon brought forth Bo‛az, and Bo‛az brought forth Oḇĕḏ.
