“But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”


“But My people have forgotten Me, they have burned incense to what is false, and they have stumbled from their ways, from the ancient paths, to walk in bypaths and not on a highway,


“This is your lot, your measured portion from Me,” declares יהוה, “because you have forgotten Me, and trust in falsehood.


“Would a maiden forget her ornaments, or a bride her headband? Yet My people have forgotten Me, days without number.


And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.


Therefore She’ol has made itself wide and opened its mouth without law. Their splendour and their crowd and their uproar, and he who is exulting within her, shall go down into it.


“Woe to the wrong – evil! For the reward of his hand is done to him.


By his own evildoing the wrong is thrust down, But the righteous has a refuge in his death.


They soon forgot His works; They did not wait for His counsel,


Like sheep they shall be laid in She’ol; Death shall shepherd them; And the upright rule over them in the morning; And their form is consumed in She’ol, Far from their dwelling.


If we have forgotten the Name of our Elohim, Or stretched out our hands to a foreign mighty one,


“And I shall punish her for the days of the Ba‛als to which she burned incense and adorned herself with her rings and jewelry, and went after her lovers, and forgot Me,” declares יהוה.


A voice was heard on the bare heights, weeping supplications of the children of Yisra’ĕl, because they have perverted their way, they have forgotten יהוה their Elohim.


All this has come upon us; But we have not forgotten You, Neither have we been false to Your covenant.
