“Hear, O My people, and I speak, O Yisra’ĕl, and I witness against you: I am Elohim, your Elohim!


“O, if My people had listened to Me, Yisra’ĕl would walk in My ways,


And He said, “If you diligently obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim and do what is right in His eyes, and shall listen to His commands and shall guard all His laws, I shall bring on you none of the diseases I brought on the Mitsrites, for I am יהוה who heals you.”


And he called the name of the place Massah and Meriḇah, because of the ‘strife’ of the children of Yisra’ĕl, and because they ‘tried’ יהוה, saying, “Is יהוה in our midst or not?”


And it came to be, on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain. And a voice of a shophar was very strong, and all the people who were in the camp trembled.


“If you submit and obey, you shall eat the good of the land;


These were the waters of Meriḇah, because the children of Yisra’ĕl contended with יהוה, and He was set apart among them.


“Truly, truly, I say to you, We speak what We know and witness what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.


witnessing to Yehuḏim, and also to Greeks: repentance toward Elohim and belief in our Master יהושע Messiah.


he said to them, “Set your heart on all the words with which I warn you today, so that you command your children to guard to do all the Words of this Torah.


You go near and hear all that יהוה our Elohim says, and speak to us all that יהוה our Elohim says to you, and we shall hear and do it.’


If we receive the witness of men, the witness of Elohim is greater, because this is the witness of Elohim which He has witnessed concerning His Son.
