Indeed, in vain have I cleansed my heart, And washed my hands in innocence.


He saved us, not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His compassion, through the washing of rebirth, and renewal by the Set-apart Spirit,


So I resolve that the men pray everywhere, lifting up hands that are set-apart, without wrath and disputing.
