And Manowaḥ said, “Now let Your words come true! What is to be the rule for the youth’s life and his work?”


“So I have also loaned him to יהוה. All the days that he lives he shall be loaned to יהוה.” And he worshipped there before יהוה.


And the young Shemu’ĕl was growing in stature, and was in favour with יהוה and also with men.
