So all Yisra’ĕl brought up the ark of the covenant of יהוה with shouting and with a voice of a shophar, with trumpets and with cymbals, sounding with harps and lyres.


From the first day of the seventh new moon they began to offer ascending offerings to יהוה. But the foundation of the Hĕḵal of יהוה had not been laid.


So the priests, and the Lĕwites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinim, and all Yisra’ĕl dwelt in their cities.


And Ezra the priest brought the Torah before the assembly of both men and women and all who could hear with understanding, on the first day of the seventh new moon.


Blow a shophar in the New Moon, in the covering for the day of our festival.


Blessed are the people Who know the sounding! They walk, O יהוה, in the light of Your face.


and the Festival of the Harvest, the first-fruits of your labours which you have sown in the field; and the Festival of the Ingathering at the outgoing of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labours from the field.


And perform the Festival of Shaḇu’ot for yourself, of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the year.


And in that day it shall be that a great shophar is blown, and those who were perishing in the land of Ashshur and the outcasts in the land of Mitsrayim shall come, and shall worship יהוה on the set-apart mountain, in Yerushalayim.


And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,


‘On the first day you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.


And יהוה shall appear for them, and His arrow go forth like lightning, and the Master יהוה sound with the shophar. And He shall go with whirlwinds from the south,


And on the day of the first-fruits, when you bring a new grain offering to יהוה at your Festival of Shaḇu’ot, you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.


And on the fifteenth day of the seventh new moon you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work. And you shall celebrate a festival to יהוה seven days,


And you shall prepare an ascending offering as a sweet fragrance to יהוה: one young bull, one ram, seven lambs a year old, perfect ones,


On the eighth day you have an assembly, you do no servile work,
