For יהוה had said of them, “They shall certainly die in the wilderness.” And not a man was left of them, except Kalĕḇ son of Yephunneh, and Yehoshua son of Nun.


And Kalĕḇ silenced the people before Mosheh, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are certainly able to overcome it.”


And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Master and not to men,


Let my heart be perfect in Your laws, So that I am not put to shame.


And he did what was right in the eyes of יהוה, but not with a perfect heart.


“O יהוה Elohim of Aḇraham, Yitsḥaq, and Yisra’ĕl, our fathers, guard this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and prepare their heart toward You.


And the people rejoiced, for they had given voluntarily, because with a perfect heart they had given voluntarily to יהוה. And Dawiḏ the sovereign also rejoiced greatly.


“And you shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.


My son, give me your heart, And let your eyes watch my ways.


Qoph I have called with all my heart; Answer me, O יהוה! I observe Your laws.


None of you except Kalĕḇ son of Yephunneh, and Yehoshua son of Nun, shall enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.
