But I was like a gentle lamb brought to the slaughter. And I did not know that they had plotted against me, saying, “Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, and let his name be remembered no more.”


“But if you do not obey Me to set apart the Sabbath day, and not to bear a burden when entering the gates of Yerushalayim on the Sabbath day, then I shall kindle a fire in its gates, and it shall consume the palaces of Yerushalayim, and not be quenched.” ’ ”


And Kĕpha sat outside in the courtyard, and a servant girl came to him, saying, “And you were with יהושע of Galil.”


Then the soldiers of the governor took יהושע into the court and gathered the entire company of soldiers around Him.


And Kĕpha followed Him at a distance, even into the courtyard of the high priest. And he was sitting with the officers and warming himself at the fire.


And as Kĕpha was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came,


And the soldiers led Him away into the court, which is the palace, and they called together the entire company of soldiers,


And when they had lit a fire in the midst of the courtyard, and sat down together, Kĕpha sat among them.


Ḥanan and Qayapha being high priests, the word of Elohim came to Yoḥanan the son of Zeḵaryah in the wilderness.


And both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a command, that if anyone knew where He was, he should disclose it, in order for them to seize Him.


Then Ḥanan sent Him bound to the high priest, Qayapha.


Then they led יהושע from Qayapha to the palace, and it was early. And they themselves did not go into the palace, lest they should be defiled, but that they might eat the Pĕsaḥ.
