“And they come to you as people do, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them. For with their mouth they show much love – their hearts pursue their greedy gain.


“A son esteems his father, and a servant his master. And if I am the Father, where is My esteem? And if I am a Master, where is My fear? said יהוה of hosts to you priests who despise My Name. But you asked, ‘In what way have we despised Your Name?’


And going straight up to יהושע he said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.


“Many shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’


And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit everlasting life?”


And יהושע, knowing their thoughts, answering, said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts?


And יהושע answering, said to them, “Those who are well do not need a physician, but those who are sick.


And He knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, “Rise and stand in the midst.” And he rose up and stood.


And when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This One, if He were a prophet, would know who and what kind of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”


A certain creditor had two debtors. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.


“You call me Teacher and Master, and you say well, for I am.


יהושע, therefore, knew that they were wishing to ask Him, and He said to them, “Are you asking one another about what I said, ‘A little while, and you do not see Me, and again a little while, and you shall see Me’?


“Now we know that You know all, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from Elohim.


This one came to יהושע by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from Elohim, for no one is able to do these signs You do if Elohim is not with him.”
