17 And on a certain day it came to be, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the Torah sitting by, who had come out of every village of Galil, Yehuḏah, and Yerushalayim. And the power of יהוה was there to heal them.

Then there came to יהושע scribes and Pharisees from Yerushalayim, saying,


But he went out and began to publish it so much, and to spread the word, that יהושע was no longer able to openly enter the city, but was outside in lonely places. Yet they came to Him from all directions.


they shall take up snakes, and if they drink any deadly drink it shall by no means hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall get well.”


And the scribes who came down from Yerushalayim said, “He has Be‛elzebul,” and, “He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.”


And immediately יהושע, knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My garments?”


And the Pharisees and some of the scribes assembled to Him, having come from Yerushalayim.


And the Pharisees and scribes grumbled, saying, “This One receives sinners and eats with them.”


And it came to be, after three days, that they found Him in the Set-apart Place, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.


And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who is able to forgive sins except Elohim alone?”


And the Pharisees and their scribes grumbled against His taught ones, saying, “Why do You eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”


And all the crowd were seeking to touch Him, for power went out from Him, and healing them all.


But the Pharisees and those learned in the Torah rejected the counsel of Elohim for themselves, not having been immersed by him.


But יהושע said, “Somebody did touch Me, for I knew power went out from Me.”


יהושע answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Yisra’ĕl, and do not know this?


But the one doing the truth comes to the light, so that his works are clearly seen, that they have been wrought in Elohim.


And Elohim worked unusual miracles through the hands of Sha’ul,


by stretching out Your hand for healing, and signs, and wonders to take place through the Name of Your set-apart Servant יהושע.”


But a certain one in the council stood up, a Pharisee named Gamli’ĕl, a teacher of the Torah, respected by all the people, and ordered them to put the emissaries outside for a little while,
