And they sought for a beautiful young woman in all the border of Yisra’ĕl, and found Aḇishaḡ the Shunammite, and brought her to the sovereign.


And he said, “Please speak to Sovereign Shelomoh – for he would not refuse you – to give me Aḇishaḡ the Shunammite as wife.”


Then she said, “Let Aḇishaḡ the Shunammite be given to Aḏoniyahu your brother as wife.”


And it came to be, after these events, that Naḇoth the Yizre‛ĕlite had a vineyard which was in Yizre‛ĕl, near the palace of Aḥaḇ the sovereign of Shomeron.


And he said to Gĕḥazi his servant, “Call this Shunammite woman.” So he called her, and she stood before him.


And it came to be on a day that Elisha went to Shunĕm, where there was a prominent woman, and she took hold of him to eat some food. And it came to be, as often as he passed by, that he turned in there to eat some food.


And Sovereign Yoram went back to Yizre‛ĕl to recover from the wounds with which the Arameans had stricken him at Ramah, when he fought against Ḥaza’ĕl sovereign of Aram. Then Aḥazyahu son of Yehoram, the sovereign of Yehuḏah, went down to see Yoram son of Aḥaḇ in Yizre‛ĕl, for he was sick.


But Sovereign Yehoram had returned to Yizre‛ĕl to recover from the wounds with which the Arameans had stricken him when he fought with Ḥaza’ĕl sovereign of Aram – Yĕhu now said, “If this is your desire, let no one leave or escape from the city to go and make it known in Yizre‛ĕl!”


And Yĕhu came to Yizre‛ĕl, and Izeḇel heard of it. And she put paint on her eyes and adorned her head, and looked through a window.


and Yizre‛ĕl, and Yoqḏe‛am, and Zanowaḥ,


Then the children of Yosĕph said, “The hill country is not enough for us, and all the Kena‛anites who dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both those who are of Bĕyth She’an and its towns and those who are of the Valley of Yizre‛ĕl.”


The fourth lot came out to Yissasḵar, for the children of Yissasḵar, for their clans.


and Ḥapharayim, and Shiyon, and Anaḥarath,


And the Philistines were gathered, and came and encamped at Shunĕm. And Sha’ul gathered all Yisra’ĕl, and they encamped at Gilboa.
