Joshua 10:24 - The Scriptures 2009

24 And it came to be, when they brought out those sovereigns to Yehoshua, that Yehoshua called for all the men of Yisra’ĕl, and said to the chiefs of the men of battle who went with him, “Come near, put your feet on the necks of these sovereigns.” And they drew near and put their feet on their necks.

Blessed are you, O Yisra’ĕl! Who is like you, a people saved by יהוה, the shield of your help, and He who is the sword of your excellency! And your enemies are subdued for you, and you tread down their high places.


And to which of the messengers did He ever say, “Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet”?


And he said to Yether his first-born, “Rise, kill them!” But the youth would not draw his sword, for he was afraid, because he was still a youth.
