For Herodes had arrested Yoḥanan, bound him and put him in prison because of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife,

And יהושע, having heard that Yoḥanan had been put in prison, withdrew into Galil.

For Herodes himself had sent and seized Yoḥanan, and bound him in prison because of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, because he had married her,
