2 This one came to יהושע by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from Elohim, for no one is able to do these signs You do if Elohim is not with him.”

“Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, a people in whose heart is My Torah: do not fear the reproach of men, nor be afraid of their revilings.


But Tsiḏqiyahu the sovereign swore secretly to Yirmeyahu, saying, “As יהוה lives, who made us this life, I do not put you to death, nor do I give you into the hand of these men who seek your life.”


And they sent to Him their taught ones with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of Elohim in truth, and it does not concern You about anyone, for You are not partial to any man.


and the greetings in the market-places, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’


“But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brothers.


And when they came, they said to Him, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and it does not concern You about anyone, for You are not partial to any, but teach the way of Elohim in truth. Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?


And יהושע turning, and seeing them following, said to them, “What do you seek?” And they said to Him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are You staying?”


but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”


But though He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him,


“Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak from Myself. But the Father who stays in Me does His works.


If I did not do among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin. But now they have both seen and have hated both Me and My Father,”


This, the beginning of the signs, יהושע did in Qanah of Galil, and manifested His esteem. And His taught ones believed in Him.


יהושע said to her, “Miryam!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher).


and they came to Yoḥanan and said to him, “Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Yardĕn, to whom you have witnessed, see, He is immersing, and all are coming to Him!”


But in the meantime His taught ones were asking Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”


“But I have a greater witness than that of Yoḥanan, for the works that the Father gave Me to accomplish, the works that I do, bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.


And a large crowd was following Him, because they saw His signs which He did on those who were sick.


And many of the crowd believed in Him, and said, “When the Messiah comes, shall He do more signs than these which this One did?”


Therefore some of the Pharisees said, “This Man is not from Elohim, because He does not guard the Sabbath.” Others said, “How is a man who is a sinner able to do such miracles?” And there was a division among them.


how Elohim did anoint יהושע of Natsareth with the Set-apart Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for Elohim was with Him.


“Men of Yisra’ĕl, hear these words: יהושע of Natsareth, a Man from Elohim, having been pointed out to you by mighty works, and wonders, and signs which Elohim did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know,


and most of the brothers, trusting in the Master because of my chains, are much more bold to fearlessly speak the word.


And Giḏ‛on took ten men from among his servants and did as יהוה had said to him. And it came to be, because he feared his father’s household and the men of the city too much to do it by day, that he did it by night.
