And יהוה said, “Because the outcry against Seḏom and Amorah is great, and because their sin is very heavy,


“And it shall be as when the harvester gathers the grain, and reaps the heads with his arm. And it shall be as he who gathers heads of grain in the Valley of Repha’im.


“I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with Me. And I trod them down in My displeasure, and I trampled them in My wrath. Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have defiled all My raiment.


For thus said יהוה of hosts, the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, “The daughter of Baḇel is like a threshing-floor at the time it is trodden. Yet a little while and the time of her harvest shall come.”


“יהוה has trodden down all my strong men in my midst, He has called an appointed time Against me to crush my young men. יהוה has trodden down as in a winepress The maiden daughter of Yehuḏah.


“Also, a harvest is appointed for you, O Yehuḏah, when I turn back the captivity of My people.


and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. And the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the messengers.


“And when the crop is ready, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”


“Count seven weeks for yourself. Begin to count seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the grain.


And I looked and saw a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was One like the Son of Aḏam, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.


And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations. And He shall shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Ěl Shaddai.
