Did you, with Him, spread out the clouds, strong as a hard mirror?


He made the earth by His power, He established the world by His wisdom, and stretched out the heavens by His understanding.


By the Word of יהוה the heavens were made, And all their host by the Spirit of His mouth,


Covering Yourself with light as with a garment, Stretching out the heavens like a curtain,


For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood fast.


Praise Him, heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens!


The message of the word of יהוה against Yisra’ĕl. יהוה, stretching out the heavens, and laying the foundation of the earth, and forming the spirit of man within him, declares,


The heavens are proclaiming the esteem of Ěl; And the expanse is declaring the work of His hand.


And Elohim said, “Let the waters teem with shoals of living beings, and let birds fly above the earth on the face of the expanse of the heavens.”


By His Spirit He adorned the heavens. His hand whirled the fleeing serpent.


Praise Yah! Praise Ěl in His set-apart place; Praise Him in His mighty expanse!


He also loads the thick clouds with moisture; He scatters His bright clouds.


If the clouds are filled with rain, they empty themselves upon the earth. And if a tree falls to the south or the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it is.


And Elohim said, “Let lights come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and appointed times, and for days and years,


But יהוה is truly Elohim. He is the living Elohim and the everlasting Sovereign. At His wrath the earth shakes, and nations are unable to stand His displeasure.


For they choose to have this hidden from them: that the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by the Word of Elohim,


It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in,


Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge.
