And the Master said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and seek in the house of Yehuḏah for one called Sha’ul of Tarsos, for look, he is praying,


But a certain one in the council stood up, a Pharisee named Gamli’ĕl, a teacher of the Torah, respected by all the people, and ordered them to put the emissaries outside for a little while,


But Sha’ul replied, “I am a Yehuḏi from Tarsos, in Kilikia, a citizen of no mean city. And I beg you, allow me to speak to the people.”


And when they heard it, they praised the Master. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands of Yehuḏim there are who have believed, and all are ardent for the Torah,


Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they of Yisra’ĕl? So am I. Are they the seed of Aḇraham? So am I.


And she had a sister called Miryam, who also sat at the feet of יהושע and heard His word.


And Elisha returned to Gilgal. And the scarcity of food was in the land, and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him. And he said to his servant, “Put on the large pot, and cook stew for the sons of the prophets.”


Indeed, He loves the peoples, all His set-apart ones are in Your hand. And they, they sat down at Your feet, receiving Your Words.


I say then, has Elohim rejected His people? Let it not be! For I also am of Yisra’ĕl, of the seed of Aḇraham, of the tribe of Binyamin.


Now Sha’ul, perceiving that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, cried out in the council, “Men, brothers, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee, I am being judged concerning the expectation and resurrection of the dead!”


But some of those of the so-called Congregation of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Kilikia and Asia), rose up, disputing with Stephanos,


The sovereign therefore called the Giḇ‛onites and spoke to them. Now the Giḇ‛onites were not of the children of Yisra’ĕl, but of the remnant of the Amorites. And the children of Yisra’ĕl had sworn protection to them, but Sha’ul had sought to strike them in his ardour for the children of Yisra’ĕl and Yehuḏah.


Then I went into the districts of Suria and of Kilikia.


And I progressed in Yehuḏaism beyond many of my age in my race, being more exceedingly ardent for the traditions of my fathers.


And the governor, having read it, and having asked of what province he was, and being informed that he was from Kilikia,


And he went through Suria and Kilikia, strengthening the assemblies.


having written by their hand this: The emissaries and the elders and the brothers, To the brothers who are of the nations in Antioch, and Suria, and Kilikia: Greetings.


Then Barnaḇa went to Tarsos to seek Sha’ul,


And when the brothers learned of this, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him out to Tarsos.


So they came out to see what had taken place, and came to יהושע, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at the feet of יהושע, dressed, and in his right mind. And they were afraid.


And it came to be, after three days, that they found Him in the Set-apart Place, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.


But Sha’ul, still breathing threats and murder against the taught ones of the Master, having come to the high priest,


“Therefore, indeed, I thought within myself that I ought to do much against the Name of יהושע of Natsareth,
