“And You deliver me from the strivings of my people, You safeguard me as the head of the nations; A people I have not known serve me.


You deliver me from the strivings of the people, You set me at the head of the nations; A people I have not known serve me.


Mo’aḇ is My wash-pot, Over Eḏom I cast My shoe, Shout loud, O Philistia, because of Me.


Thus the Philistines were humbled, and no longer came into the border of Yisra’ĕl. And the hand of יהוה was against the Philistines all the days of Shemu’ĕl.


And the Philistines heard that they had anointed Dawiḏ sovereign over Yisra’ĕl, and all the Philistines went up to search for Dawiḏ, but Dawiḏ heard and went down to the stronghold.


And Dawiḏ did so, as יהוה commanded him, and smote the Philistines from Geḇa as far as Gezer.


You have made the earth tremble; You have broken it; Heal its breaches, for it is shaken.
