Dawiḏ then sent messengers to the men of Yaḇĕsh Gil‛aḏ, and said to them, “You are blessed of יהוה, for you have shown this loving-commitment to your master, to Sha’ul, that you buried him.


“And now, יהוה show loving-commitment and truth to you, and I am also going to do you good, because you have done this deed.


Kaph All the paths of יהוה are loving-commitment and truth, To those who guard His covenant and His witnesses.


You have counted my wanderings; You put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?


He sends from the heavens and saves me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah. Elohim sends forth His loving-commitment and His truth.


They wander up and down for food, And whine if they are not satisfied.


Let him dwell forever before Elohim. Prepare loving-commitment and truth to preserve him!


So I sing praise to Your Name forever, When I pay my vows day by day.


Loving-commitment and truth shall meet, Righteousness and peace shall kiss.


Righteousness and right-ruling Are the foundation of Your throne; Loving-commitment and truth go before Your face.


Do not those who plan evil go astray? But loving-commitment and truth are to those who plan good.


Let not loving-commitment and truth forsake you – Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart,


“And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east – they shall diligently search, seeking the Word of יהוה, but they shall not find it.


for the Torah was given through Mosheh – the favour and the truth came through יהושע Messiah.


Then Dawiḏ and his men, about six hundred, arose and left Qe‛ilah and went wherever they could go. And Sha’ul was informed that Dawiḏ had escaped from Qe‛ilah, and he ceased to go out.
