14 “For we shall certainly die and become like water spilled on the ground, which is not gathered up again. Yet Elohim does not take away a life, but shall devise ways, so that His outcast ones are not cast out from Him.

My strength is dried like a potsherd, And My tongue is cleaving to My jaws; And to the dust of death You are appointing Me.


Let them melt, let them vanish as water; Let Him aim His arrows that they be cut down;


Has His loving-commitment ceased forever, Has the promise failed for all generations?


They have poured out their blood Like water all around Yerushalayim, With no one to bury them.


The days of our lives are seventy years; Or if due to strength, eighty years, Yet the best of them is but toil and exertion; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.


You turn man back to dust, And say, “Return, O children of men.”


“But if he did not lie in wait, but Elohim delivered him into his hand, then I shall appoint for you a place where he is to flee.


For the living know that they shall die, but the dead know naught, nor do they have any more reward, for their remembrance is forgotten.


For יהוה does not cast off forever.


“Have I any pleasure in the death of the wrong?” declares the Master יהוה. “Is it not that he should turn from his ways, and live?


‘But if they confess their crookedness and the crookedness of their fathers, with their trespass in which they trespassed against Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me,


These six cities are for refuge for the children of Yisra’ĕl, and for the sojourner, and for the settler in their midst, for anyone who mistakenly strikes someone to flee there.


And the congregation shall rescue the man-slayer from the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall return him to the city of refuge where he had fled, and he shall remain there until the death of the high priest who was anointed with the set-apart oil.


because he should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the death of the high priest the man-slayer is to return to the land of his possession.


And they sent to Him their taught ones with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of Elohim in truth, and it does not concern You about anyone, for You are not partial to any man.


And opening his mouth, Kĕpha said, “Truly I see that Elohim shows no partiality,


For there is no partiality with Elohim.


“For יהוה your Elohim is Elohim of mighty ones and Master of masters, the great Ěl, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.


And as it awaits men to die once, and after this the judgment,


And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear,
