And Ya‛aqoḇ came to Luz, that is Bĕyth Ěl, which is in the land of Kena‛an, he and all the people who were with him.


“When I seize the appointed time, It is I who judge in uprightness.


“Hear this, O priests! And listen, O house of Yisra’ĕl! Give ear, O house of the sovereign! For the judgment is for you, for you have been a snare to Mitspah and a net spread on Taḇor.


but do not seek Bĕyth Ěl, nor enter Gilgal, nor pass over to Be’ĕrsheḇa. For Gilgal shall certainly go into exile, and Bĕyth Ěl become a non-entity.


and Mitspeh, and Kephirah, and Motsah,


And the children of Yisra’ĕl camped in Gilgal, and performed the Pĕsaḥ on the fourteenth day of the new moon at evening on the desert plains of Yeriḥo.


And יהוה said to Yehoshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Mitsrayim from you.” So the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day.


And he had thirty sons who rode on thirty donkeys. And they had thirty towns, which are called Hawoth Yair to this day, which are in the land of Gil‛aḏ.


and he had forty sons and thirty grandsons, who rode on seventy young donkeys. And he ruled Yisra’ĕl eight years.


“You who ride on white donkeys, you who sit on rich carpets, and you who walk along the way, declare it!


And Shemu’ĕl called the people together to יהוה at Mitspah,


And Shemu’ĕl said to the people, “Come, and let us go to Gilgal and renew the reign there.”


And Shemu’ĕl said, “Gather all Yisra’ĕl to Mitspah and let me pray to יהוה for you.”
