Many seek the face of a ruler, But right-ruling for man comes from יהוה.


The desire of the righteous is only good, The expectancy of the wrong is wrath.


Rĕsh The wrong one sees it and shall be vexed; Shin He gnashes his teeth and shall melt. Taw The desire of the wrong ones does perish.


For strangers have risen up against me, And cruel men have sought after my life; They have not set Elohim before them. Selah.


And Aḇnĕr said to Dawiḏ, “Let me arise and go, and gather all Yisra’ĕl to my master the sovereign, and let them make a covenant with you, and you shall reign over all that your being desires.” And Dawiḏ sent Aḇnĕr away, and he went in peace.


“And when the Lĕwite comes from one of your gates, from where he has sojourned among all Yisra’ĕl, and shall come with all the desire of his being to the place which יהוה chooses,


And Sha’ul said, “Blessed are you of יהוה, for you have sympathy with me.


Do not lie in wait, O wrong one, Against the dwelling of the righteous; Do not ravage his resting place;
