And He said, “Your name is no longer called Yaʽ


And Asa called to יהוה  his Elohim, and said, “יהוה, there is no one but You to help between the mighty and the powerless. Help us, O יהוה  our Elohim, for we rest on You, and in Your Name we go against this crowd. O יהוה, You are our Elohim, do not let man prevail against You!”


To execute vengeance on the gentiles, Punishments on the peoples;


Arise, O יהוה ; Save me, O my Elohim! Because You have smitten all my enemies on the cheek; You have broken the teeth of the wrong.


Awake! Why do You sleep, O יהוה ? Arise! Do not reject us forever.


Arise, be our help, And redeem us for Your kindness’ sake.


Arise, O יהוה, in Your displeasure; Lift Yourself up against the rage of my adversaries, And awake for me! You shall command judgment!


Pour out Your wrath on the gentiles Who have not known You, And on reigns that have not called on Your Name.


Before Ephrayim, Binyamin, and Menashsheh, Stir up Your might, And come and save us!


Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of יהוה! Awake as in days of old, everlasting generations. Was it not You who cut Rahaḇ


Pour out Your wrath on the gentiles who do not know You, and on the tribes who do not call on Your Name. For they have eaten up Yaʽ


“Let the gentiles be aroused, and come up to the Valley of Yehoshaphat. For there I shall sit to judge all the gentiles on every side.


“And I shall take vengeance in wrath and rage on the gentiles who did not obey.”


“Therefore wait for Me,” declares יהוה, “until the day I rise up for plunder. For My judgment is to gather nations, to assemble reigns, to pour out on them My rage, all my burning wrath. For by the fire of My jealousy all the earth shall be consumed.


And if the clan of Mitsrayim does not come up and enter in, then there is no rain. On them is the plague with which יהוה  plagues the gentiles who do not come up to observe the Festival of Booths.


And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations. And He shall shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Ě


“He guards the feet of His kind ones, but the wrong are silent in darkness, for man does not become mighty by power.
