“When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they sin against You, when they pray toward this place and confess Your Name, and turn from their sin because You afflict them,


whatever prayer, whatever supplication made by anyone of all Your people Yisra’ĕ


He who practises deceit Does not dwell in my house; He who speaks lies Does not stand in my presence.


But with You there is forgiveness, That You might be feared.


Let us go into His dwelling places; Let us bow ourselves at His footstool.


I bow myself toward Your set-apart Hĕ


Hear the voice of my prayers when I cry to You, When I lift up my hands Toward Your Set-apart Speaking Place.


The righteous cried out, and יהוה  heard, And delivered them out of all their distresses.


Show me favour, O Elohim, According to Your kindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, Blot out my transgressions.


But I am like a green olive tree In the House of Elohim, I have trusted in the kindness of Elohim Forever and ever.


I, I call upon Elohim, And יהוה  saves me.


But as for me, my prayer is to You, O יהוה, At an acceptable time, O Elohim. In the greatness of Your kindness, Answer me in the truth of Your deliverance.


Answer me, O יהוה, for Your kindness is good. According to the greatness of Your compassion, turn to me.


These six matters יהוה  hates, And seven are an abomination to Him:


A proud look, A lying tongue, And hands shedding innocent blood,


Let the wrong forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to יהוה, who has compassion on him, and to our Elohim, for He pardons much.


Our set-apart and comely House, where our fathers praised You, has been burned up with fire. And all that we treasured has become a ruin.


Afterward the children of Yisra’ĕ


Then indeed the assemblies throughout all Yehuḏ


Therefore, let us come boldly to the throne of favour, in order to receive compassion, and find favour for timely help.


“And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve יהוה, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve, whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But I and my house, we serve יהוה.”
