He who hides hatred has lying lips, And he who sends out a slander is a fool.


For as he reckons in his life, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.


Take away the dross from silver, And a vessel comes forth for the refiner.


Though he speaks kindly, do not believe him, For there are seven abominations in his heart.
