Good is a man showing favour and lending, He sustains his matters in right-ruling.


He who tills his land is satisfied with bread, But he who pursues vanities is lacking heart.


From the fruit of his mouth one is filled with good, And the work of a man’s hands is given back to him.


He who tends the fig tree eats its fruit; And he who guards his master is esteemed.


He who tills his land is satisfied with bread, But he who pursues vanities is filled with poverty.


And the increase of the land is for all. The sovereign himself is served from the field.


and the elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a wadi with flowing water, which is neither ploughed nor sown, and they shall break the heifer’s neck there in the wadi.
