“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are filled with plunder and unrighteousness.


“For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens.


And they were both righteous before Elohim, blamelessly walking in all the commands and righteousnesses of יהוה.


And when they heard it, they praised the Master. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands of Yehuḏ


as also the high priest bears me witness, and all the eldership, from whom I also received letters to the brothers, and went to Damascus to bring in chains even those who were there to Yerushalayim to be punished.


since they have known me from the first, if they wish to witness, that I lived as a Pharisee according to the strictest sect of our observance.


But Sha’ul was ravaging the assembly, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, putting them in prison.


And I was alive apart from the Torah once, but when the command came, the sin revived, and I died.


Cause no stumbling, either to the Yehuḏ


For I am the least of the emissaries, who am not worthy to be called an emissary, because I persecuted the assembly of Elohim.


in order that you be blameless and faultless, children of Elohim without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,


and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through belief in Messiah, the righteousness which is from Elohim on the basis of belief,


me, although I was formerly a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and an insulter. But compassion was shown me because being ignorant I did it in unbelief.


And the men of the city said to Yo’ash, “Bring out your son, so that he dies, for he has broken down the altar of Baʽ
