And fire came out from יהוה  and consumed them, and they died before יהוה.


And they gave the children of Yisra’ĕ


“Let Me smite them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.”


Of those men who went to spy out the land, only Yehoshua son of Nun, and Kalĕ


And a fire came out from יהוה  and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who were offering incense.


And those who died in the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died on account of Qoraḥ


And the people contended with Mosheh and spoke, saying, “If only we had died when our brothers died before יהוה!


“And the donkey saw Me and turned aside from Me these three times. If she had not turned aside from Me, I certainly would have killed you by now, and let her live.”


And those who died in the plague were twenty-four thousand.


neither grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and were destroyed by the destroyer.


However, with most of them Elohim was not well pleased, for they were laid low in the wilderness.


And with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness?


And to whom did He swear that they would not enter into His rest, but to those who did not obey?


But I intend to remind you, though you once knew this, that יהוה, having saved a people out of the land of Mitsrayim, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
