and purge the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against Me. From the land where they sojourn I bring them out, but they shall not come into the land of Yisra’ĕ


And all those that were registered of the children of Yisra’ĕ


all those that were registered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.


But among these there was not a man of those registered by Mosheh and Aharon the priest when they registered the sons of Yisra’ĕ


For יהוה  had said of them, “They shall certainly die in the wilderness.” And not a man was left of them, except Kalĕ


However, with most of them Elohim was not well pleased, for they were laid low in the wilderness.


“And the time we took to come from Qaḏ


And with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness?


For the children of Yisra’ĕ


But I intend to remind you, though you once knew this, that יהוה, having saved a people out of the land of Mitsrayim, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
