9 “And when you go into battle in your land against the enemy that distresses you, then you shall shout with the trumpets, and you shall be remembered before יהוה  your Elohim, and you shall be saved from your enemies.

Remember me, O יהוה, in the acceptance of Your people; Visit me with Your deliverance,


And their enemies oppressed them, And they were humbled under their hand.


Who remembered us in our humiliation, For His kindness is everlasting;


All inhabitants of the world, and you that dwell on the earth: When a banner is lifted up on the mountains, look! And when a ram’s horn is blown, hear!


“Cry aloud, do not spare. Lift up your voice like a ram’s horn. Declare to My people their transgression, and the house of Yaʽ


O my inward parts, my inward parts! I am in pain! O the walls of my heart! My heart pounds in me, I am not silent. For you have heard, O my being, the sound of the ram’s horn, a shout of battle!


How long shall I see a banner, and hear the sound of the ram’s horn?


“Therefore see, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall sound a battle cry in Rabbah of the Ammonites. And it shall be a heap, a wasteland, and her villages shall be burned with fire. Then Yisra’ĕ


“O children of Binyamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Yerushalayim! Blow the ram’s horn in Teqowa, and set up a signal-fire in Bĕ


“And I raised up watchmen over you, and said, ‘Listen to the sound of the ram’s horn!’ But they said, ‘We do not listen.’


‘They have blown the trumpet and all is prepared, but no one goes to battle, for My wrath is on all its crowd.

“Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕ


If a ram’s horn is blown in a city, do the people not tremble? If there is calamity in a city, shall not יהוה  have done it?


a day of ram’s horn and alarm – against the walled cities and against the corner towers.


And Mosheh sent them on the campaign, one thousand from each tribe, them and Pineḥ


For indeed, if the trumpet makes an indistinct sound, who shall prepare himself for battle?


“When you go out to battle against your enemies, and shall see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them, for יהוה  your Elohim, who brought you up from the land of Mitsrayim, is with you.


“And it shall be, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the horn, that all the people shout with a great shout. And the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall go up every man straight before him.”


And they crushed and oppressed the children of Yisra’ĕ


And when יהוה  raised up rulers for them, יהוה  was with the ruler and saved them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the ruler, for יהוה  had compassion on their groaning because of those who oppressed them and crushed them.


And it came to be, when he arrived, that he blew the ram’s horn in the mountains of Ephrayim, and the children of Yisra’ĕ


Then the Spirit of יהוה  came upon Giḏ


and I delivered you out of the hand of the Mitsrites and out of the hand of all your oppressors, and drove them out before you and gave you their land.


and said to the children of Yisra’ĕ
