And he rose straightaway, and took up the bed, and went out before all, so that all were amazed and praised Elohim, saying, “We have never seen the like of it!”


And having been awakened He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.


And they feared exceedingly, and asked each other, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”


And immediately the girl rose up and was walking, for she was twelve years old. And they were completely astonished.


And they went away to a lonely place in the boat by themselves.


And they were immeasurably astonished, saying, “He has done all well. He makes even the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak.”


They wished therefore to take Him into the boat, and at once the boat was at the land where they were going.
