The silver from the trespass offerings and the silver from the sin offerings was not brought into the House of יהוה. It belonged to the priests.


“And he shall slaughter the lamb in the place where he slaughters the sin offering and the burnt offering, in a set-apart place. For the guilt offering, like the sin offering, belongs to the priest. It is most set-apart.


‘And the rest of the grain offering is for Aharon and his sons, most set-apart of the offerings to יהוה  made by fire.


‘And the rest of the grain offering is for Aharon and his sons, most set-apart of the offerings to יהוה  by fire.


‘It is not baked with leaven. I have given it to them as their portion of My offerings made by fire, it is most set-apart, like the sin offering and the guilt offering.


‘And the priest who brings anyone’s burnt offering, the skin of the burnt offering which he has brought is the priest’s, it is his.


‘But if the man has no relative to restore the guilt to, the guilt which is restored goes to יהוה, for the priest, in addition to the ram of the atonement with which atonement is made for him.


Do you not know that those serving the Set-apart Place eat from the Set-apart Place, and those attending at the altar have their share of the offerings of the altar?
