And it came to be, at the gates of Yerushalayim, as it began to be dark before the Sabbath, that I commanded the gates to be shut, and commanded that they should not be opened till after the Sabbath. And I stationed some of my servants at the gates, so that no burdens would be brought in on the Sabbath day.


“And your gates shall be open continually, they are not shut day or night, to bring to you the wealth of the gentiles, and their sovereigns in procession.


“In those days and at that time,” declares יהוה, “the crookedness of Yisra’ĕ


“And by the bank of the stream, on both sides, grow all kinds of trees used for food, whose leaves do not wither and fruit do not fail. They bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the set-apart place. And their fruit shall be for food, and their leaves for healing.”


But the woman had taken the two men and hid them. So she said, “The men came to me, but I did not know where they were from.


But she had brought them up to the roof and hidden them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid out on the roof.


And the men pursued them by the way to the Yardĕ


And its gates shall not be shut at all by day, for night shall not be there.
