And Yehoshaphat was afraid, and set his face to seek יהוה, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Yehuḏ


I then proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahawa, to humble ourselves before our Elohim, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions,


So the children of Yisra’ĕ


“And no longer shall they teach, each one his neighbour, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know יהוה,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares יהוה. “For I shall forgive their crookedness, and remember their sin no more.”


And it came to be in the fifth year of Yehoyaqim son of Yoshiyahu, sovereign of Yehuḏ


Then all the commanders of the army, and Yoḥ


So I set my face toward יהוה  the Elohim to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes.


Set apart a fast. Call an assembly, gather the elders, all the inhabitants of the land, into the House of יהוה  your Elohim, and cry out to יהוה.


And he proclaimed and said throughout Ninewĕ


“Therefore take courage, men, for I believe Elohim that it shall be according to the way it was spoken to me.


to whom they all were giving heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This one is the power of Elohim, which is great.”


And belief is the substance of what is expected, the proof of what is not seen.


“And I shall give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clad in sackcloth.”
