“And I shall make Shomeron a heap in the field, places for planting a vineyard. And I shall pour down her stones into the valley, and uncover her foundations.


But each one shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, with no one to make them afraid, for the mouth of יהוה  of hosts has spoken.


‘In that day,’ declares יהוה  of hosts, ‘you shall invite one another, under the vine and under the fig tree.’ ”


‘And who is the man who has planted a vineyard and has not begun to use it? Let him also go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man should begin to use it.


“You become engaged to a wife, but another man does lie with her. You build a house, but do not dwell in it. You plant a vineyard, but do not use its fruit.
