“Therefore I still contend with you,” declares יהוה, “and with your children’s children I contend.


‘Now the end is upon you, and I shall send My displeasure against you, and judge you according to your ways, and repay you for all your abominations.


‘Soon I shall pour out My wrath, and shall complete My displeasure upon you, and judge you according to your ways, and repay you for all your abominations.


Hear the word of יהוה, you children of Yisra’ĕ


“And it shall be: like people, like priest. And I shall punish them for their ways, and reward them for their deeds.


Thus said יהוה, “For three transgressions of Yehuḏ


“Hear, O you mountains, the controversy of יהוה, and you everlasting foundations of the earth! For יהוה  has a controversy with His people and He shall reprove Yisra’ĕ


Yet, before they were born or had done any good or evil – in order that the purpose of Elohim, according to choice, might stand, not of works but of Him who calls –
